I have achieved remarkable success in my racing career, winning six Australian E-Mountain Bike National Championships across both the E-XC and E-Enduro categories. Since 2013, I have competed internationally in Enduro, attaining an impressive 7th place in the E-Enduro World Series in 2022 and finishing 9th in the 2023 series. My dedication to the sport has led me to represent Australia four times at the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships, including participation in the inaugural UCI E-Enduro World Championships in 2024. Notably, I secured 9th place at the very first Enduro World Series event in Punta Ala, Italy, and continued to race in the Enduro World Series until my final season of regular Enduro in 2019, which featured a commendable 6th place finish at the event in Whistler, Canada.
The year 2024 marked my last season as a full-time professional Enduro and E-Enduro racer, culminating in my final event in September at the historic first UCI Enduro and E-Enduro Mountain Bike World Championships held in the stunning Val Di Fassa region of the famous Dolomites in Italy.
In 2023 and 2024, I took on new challenges as a presenter, field reporter, co-host, and host of the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series presented by Warner Brothers Discovery. I created a feature segment called "Carlson On Course," which is featured in both the UK and World Feed broadcasts of the events for Eurosport, Discovery +, Stan Australia, and MAX in the US.
In addition to the "Carlson On Course" segments, I serve as the Co-Host of the Downhill World Cup studio shows, the Host of the Enduro World Cup Series, and a field reporter and expert pundit for the Cross Country World Cup broadcasts, while also engaging in various social media activations and features throughout the television broadcast schedule.
